- Hot summer temps lead to large electric bills. Turning the thermostat down 2 or 3 degrees will help. Cover windows and keep doors close.
- Invest in smoke and carbon dioxide detectors. CHECK BATTERIES
- Keep area around heating and cooling systems clean.
- Don’t overload outlets
- KEEP away from downed power lines. CALL 911
- Teach children about safety around ectrical outlets and appliances.
- Use safety caps in outlets with small children
