The citizens of Breese and I wish to welcome you to our website.
We have a motto, "PROUD OF OUR
PAST, PLANNING FOR OUR FUTURE." Breese was
named after Sidney Breese, one of the longest serving Chief
Justices of the Illinois Supreme Court. The Breese
Historical Park, the renovated Avon Theater, our churches, and
our schools point to that PRIDE IN
OUR PAST.
We have PLANNED FOR OUR FUTURE
by upgrading electric, water, sewer and road infrastructure.
The private sector has provided a modern healthcare system,
successful small businesses and have supported the growth of
quality schools (public & private) that fit every child's needs.
Our Breese organizations provide provide a way to make new
friends and become involved in the community. These
organizations, working with business and city government, have
worked together to provide a high quality life with small town
values.
