Dale Detmer, the Utility Plant Operations Manager for City of Breese and the Illinois Municipal Electric Agency Board of Directors Immediate Past Chairman, was presented with the APPA’s Larry Hobart Seven Hats Award at the American Public Power Association National Conference in Seattle, WA. APPA’s Larry Hobart Seven Hats Award recognizes managers of small public power utilities serving fewer than 2,500 meters. These managers have a very small staff and must assume multiple roles — “seven hats” — within their organizations to serve their communities. Congratulations Dale!
